I am not to sure whether this is a "rant" or amusing.

How many expatriates have you seen go "ass over tit" on the wet slippery pavement where the flower vendors ply their trade. (on the corner down from the plaza by the traffic lights )

I notice the "old hands" walk in the road.

You dont have to be an expatriate to go "ass over tit" on that stretch of pavement - I have seen Thais and Farangs alike suffer the same fate.

I have slipped there - but never kissed the ground yet

Pushing cars away in neutral

Post by marcimpala » January 19, 2006, 1:56 pm

Allow me to add my favorite...not really a gripe but just a jaw dropper and extremely hilarious. How about the practice of leaving cars in neutral at the main shopping mall when the lot is full. Then, if someone has parked in front of your car, you simply push them left or right so you can back out. What is most hilarious is seeing families or older ladies with their backs up to a pick-up pushing it away and, of course, having it crash into another car. Toooo funny (unless your car is being crashed). Thank God for push bars and steel bumpers!!!

Sorry all I just need to blow off some steam. Looks like it going to get cold here again and to make things worst seems the jets on the dual carbs on the Bug are clogged AGAIN :x #-o ](*,) I just cleaned them out just last week and here we go again. I guess it's time to just pull them off and rebuild them but I have to wait for it to warm up :? So in the mean time I'll just crack open a Tiger beer read read the posts.

My cute little wife drives me nuts on this one 30 hours of drivers training, afraid to take the license test 800K in a truck I never wanted happy on my bikes. But he can sure tell me how to drive. :x

I made a new rule can't tell me what to do in that area until she at least takes the drivers test, no hope she will never remember it
