A dilemma - of sorts!
I think someone said eairler they smelled a troll. I am not sure but I do not believe all I read here either. This story gets a bit stranger by the updaates. I was in Udon for 2 years and very seldom ran into somone I knew let alone someone I might not like to see. Second Mr. Zoom this is your second time around for trying to post on a couple of establishments of your disapproval. Last time you were also the victim. You said you are non violent, horsefeathers, as I know you have tried to get a couple of members to meet you only because they disagree with your point of view (which is the only one correct) when you wanted to fight. I know as you even ask me. What a waste!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If this happened to you, it might not be good but I do like how you are always the victim.
There are a few disagreeable types whom I thought should leave Thailand but what I learned is that the Thai's have a very distinct way of handleing trouble makers, though maybe not as quick or visual as one might like, it seems to work.

I agree Irish Alan, girls of all types can be propositioned anytime and anyplace. I've lived here long enough to see it happen. Like you, IA, I also lived in Pattaya/Jomtien. I spent a fair amount of time in the go-go's & bars. So I'm no stranger as to what goes on in these establishments and the behavior exhibited by both bar staff and customers. IMO, I think if you could look into the minds and hearts of your "respectable Thai lady" they really don't want to go to these kinds of establishments. I think they go along, because that is what a dutiful t/w/ t/gf will do. But, I don't think they have that great a time there, IMO.

Having said that, I don't see what would be wrong with doing so in the event of a lack of satisfaction, in the same way that good comments should also be welcome.
Are you suggesting that all posts concerning establishments in Udon can only be positive?
2) I find your comments regarding my wanting to meet up with members "to fight" offensive and would ask you to either retract them and apologise or provide evidence to support your libel!

And as for talking me a long time to reply well i have other things to do than spend 23 hrs a day on udon map spreading gossip must be a sad life for you people. It was a friend who brought it to my attention.

Oh yes, I have heard a lot about this fiendish pervert. He, at one time propositioned my buddies wife, while he went to the toilet after dinner and a few drinks one night. She didn't want her husband to cause a scene, so told him of the incident while on their way home. Of course my buddy was furious, turned the car around, went back to find the guy, but never seen him again.

pretty much why i have always, usually, eaten and entertained myself in restaurants as opposed to bars. if there's more people for the beverages than food, i usually won't be in there. irish clock, nobi's, tj's, nong's is about the extent of my round making of places that serve alcohol. waiting for UP2U to return, and the night market for my more than dinner beverage nights. tho that may be coming to and end, of back to tuk tuk and hotels. saw a sign on mall road, little pre warning of pending alcohol checks in the future. a good thing.
don't know and don't care, as doubtful i'll ever cross paths with anyone in those circustances, with few exceptions, i keep my wits about me and i'm an early bird. usually have a tough time getting past that free one at the night market, which means a long night. off them towers, they can be dangerous. give me my 3+1, and it's a long night, and 100 baht cheaper.
